William it isnt government funded, its publicly funded. Its got alloted money from the Gov't, not the Liberals, not the conservatives... etc. Don't talk about stuff you dont know about.

And as for it being "left winging" it actually has devoted a lot of time to the Pro-Life movement, anti-same sex marriage arguments... etc. To say that it slammed Stockwell Day for being pro-life is a flat out lie... it simply stated that he had controversial views about it and then in the debate the other parties slammed him. (I watch the National every night)

Time is by far the most biased of the big three (Time, Newsweek, and US News). US News is the most balanced I would say, but still leans a little left.

Richard as you know i watch it a lot too there is no way that anyone can say that the CBC doesnt have a bent towards the liberals because of the money they have. Sure its publicly funded but the money comes from the government and the government deciedes how much they get. I would sooner see the CBC as a publicly funded organization then a public organization. I hate seeing my money go to that even tho i love HNIC when it could go to Health care, the armed forces, or even cultural events rather then the CBC which features shows on such things as "Lesibans couples who have completed a device that allows them to travel the world peeing upright on world monumnets" (no lie). Also just because they cover pro-life (which is few and far between) doesnt mean they speak positivley about it next time you watch see if they call them pro-life or anti-abortion.

I have read (I don't know it's true) that Tom Cruise was also going to become not only a priest, but a Franciscan Friar. And look how he turned out.

Henry Ford said, "You can't build a reputation on what you're going to do". The same hold true in this case. Mr. Moore might have had certain goals for himself at one time, but he obviously did not live up to those goals.....

my first guess was Tom Cruise but MAN OH MAN!!! I didn't know this! well easy there all who are starting to "debate" you all know where that can go, and probably be best if it be taken over there, it would be a great debate topic about news and biases of media.

I hope michael moore makes a movie about the Truth of Jesus Christ, that would be awesome. He is very talented.

I really do not see his type of "journalism" to be chirst-like. However, I don't see his style as necessarily evil. I don't know if I believe he is Catholic though.

Theologian in Training

Just because they were in a seminary does not mean a lot. Some other famous people in a seminary were Tom Cruise (now a Christian Scientist), Carson Daly (now schmoozing with the most beautiful women in hollywood), and Sting. Sometimes people get "damaged" from attending a seminary. It may be for the glory of God, but it is an institution run by very human men and women, sometimes holy and sometimes not.

Just my .02
