ironmonk
Hey pham, Today I went to work, and the boss (who is Jehova Witness) said you are a really good employee, keep up the good work. So with this in mind, this one guy who is a stalker (seriously! ) He follows me everywhere, and always questions me about the Catholic Church (Now I like that!) So he told her that we were talking about what he didn't know about the Catholic Church and he didn't understand and she said, "You know those darn Catholics are so As*iniened (spelling?) She said that to my face. Then she said to me real rudely, "ARe you Catholic?" I stated yes and darn proud of it. So I went on working. Then she comes over with the newspaper that has a quote form me about the Catholic Church and about the future with the youth, etc. She said, you know what, you should be a darn (now you know what word she really said) priest. Finally at the end of my shift, she came and talked to me and said I should not bring anymore Catholic mushy mud pie (you know she said the other word) to work. She went on to say that I should not practice Catholocism, and that if she finds out I ask off for any other Cahtolic thing she will have to terminate me. Funny thing the only things I asked off for were Catholic! Except for the packer game of course! So soon I am expecting I won't be on the schedule. Pax Christi, Eddie
Yes... Get a lawyer. You'll be able to sue them big time. Your job was threatened over your beliefs. I work for an HR company... I know a "little" about this... I would make a formal complaint about it. Your boss could get fired for that. If not, you could sue the company. Norseman82
Yes, document and EEOC. Get witnesses (no pun intended) if you can. BTW, I see in your profile that you are in the Midwest. Where are you at? Maybe a few of us can visit your Taco Bell and discuss very vocally the Catholic Answers tracts regarding the errors of the Jehovah's Witnesses.
