Johnny Reb...lol...so you actually liked my insult?

Listen, I've had grits...I've had biscuits and gravy...I'm still a Yankee...
First off, it's not an insult. Second off, it appears you liked mine. And thirdly, yeah, you're still a dang yank...but uh, that's you!

you got a problem with yankees?

Let's take this outside.

(and I hate driving but not because I'm in the boonies but because I'm in NY and everyone drives crazy here)

You're not a yankee Carrie. To be a yankee you have to eat grits and biscuits and gravy and not relate to Southern culture, or phailing that, you need to move to Texas and complain about the way people talk. :)

I thought to be a yankee, you need to live in the north. I’ve never had grits and biscuits with gravy. But I can’t relate with Southerners (never been to the South, unless you count Florida). Not moving to Texas…and being from NY I have no right to complain about others’ accents. :rolling:

Ok, so I guess we won’t take it outside. :rolling:
Yankee Doodle...

Who the heck wears a macaroni in his hat?

Weirdo...
Macaroni was actually a type of hairstyle during Revolutionary times. So when Yankee Doodle put a feather in his hat, he was trying to go "Macaroni" style, or so the song says.

But I'm sure you wanted to know that. :D
