Sister Mary Angelique looks so joyfully happy  at her solemn profession as do Maria and Renae. Many prayers for them and Chrissy.

The Dominican province of Toulouse, France has a problem - not enough room to their incoming novices! They normally have 2 or 3 novices per year, but this year they will have 10. So they're expanding the novitiate. They're spending 70,000 euro of their own, but they need an additional 50,000 euro (22,000 euro raised so far). It's a problem, but it's a good problem!

If you can help, or if you know someone who can, here's their CredoFunding page (in French). You can translate the page, or look for the red bar that says "Je Contribue."

Last weekend, Sister Eilis McCulloh, HM, makes her perpetual profession as a Sister of the Humility of Mary. The Religious Formation Conference tweeted out this picture of her (center, in red top) with young Sister-friends from a number of communities.

I am happy to report that the Toulouse Province of the Dominican Friars met and exceeded their crowd-funding goal and now have all the necessary funds to expand their novitiate!  https://www.credofunding.fr/fr/novices-dominicains-marseille?fbclid=IwAR3n_GyHi68rjIE1lsRnuCOvlSTZukiFGSRDk7m5gvChGo24S5lpg_ScEh4

The next problem is, they need 1,000 euro per novice per month! The Holy Name Province in the western US has the same problem - lots of vocations, but how to feed, clothe, and educate them (and phones, and iPads, and insurance, and all the rest of it)? I guess the St. Joseph Province (eastern US) has the same problem with 15 novices, but they may have some major donors in that area of the country.

Sr. Margaret Mary of the Marian Sisters of Santa Rosa professed solemn vows on June 24.

An interesting detail I noticed on their blog is that when professing vows the Sisters, like the Benedictines,  chant the Suscipe.

Since their foundation in 2012 with 4 founding sisters, the Marian Sisters of Santa Rosa have steadily increased in number, their community now counting 16, with more set to enter this summer. In comparison,  the Benedictines of Mary, Queen of Apostles had 2 founding sisters and their community totalled just 8 after the same number of years.

However, after entrances this summer the Benedictines of Mary will exceed 55 nuns after 26 years of existence.  It will be interesting to see if the Marian Sisters will grow as much as the Benedictines,  especially since they are already off to a good start!!

Sister Beatrice does indeed look really happy. They seem a very nice community.  I've watched a few videos about them on youtube or on the website too I think. Some of the nuns talk about their way of life and what brought them to Glencairn.  They are very interesting  and I thoroughly recommend them if you've not watched already.
