Carnanc
well I'm 17, and I remember when our family was really excited about getting our first VCR. I remember that it din't work with our black and white TV which you had to turn to change the channels, so then we had to buy a color TV

cmotherofpirl
Yeh, but youre only like 23-24 right? I dont get the impression youre much older than that. Then again, everyone seems young coming through my computer. Cmom: I'll take ya to visit with my grandma (although I know you are so much younger) and you can step back into that world you just described. My brother and I spent six weeks one summer with my grandparents in Georgia, and instead of gin rummy they would sit around singing hymes. Although my brother and I still remenisce (sp) about those days. Everyday at my grandma's is like stepping into the past. The days go by so much slower, ya know? She'll be 90 at the end of July. God Bless her. Peace :peace:
Me and your grandma would get along fine. My mom would have been 91 yesterday.

(July 20, 1976) I was born when they were walking on the moon. My mom watched in the Hospital.
St. Catherine
I am 27. I remember the big hair of the 80's and all the hairspray that went along with that. I am suprised some of those people even still have hair after all those chemicals. There seems to be a few of us turning 28 soon. Not until November for me. I stop and think, "This is soooooo much cooler than getting up to turn the knob!!!" Our first remote had a cord, too.
