Millions of people all over the world tune in to the State of the Union adress and when you have a Catholic speaking for abortion- it really doesn't give us a good name. Period. [/quote] So? do you know the names of the Holy Roman Emporers who "advised" popes? Neither do I. Yes, it might have a fairly big effect, but for [i]thousands[/i] of years? Er, no. We are the ones that are to stand up and say NO! We are the Church Militant and if Kerry gets into office and starts to corrupt the Church even more, then its up to us to protest and stand up for Christ and defend Her. Constantine was pretty instrumental in bringing Christianity out of persecution and into the mainstream. Charlemagne was somewhat likewise.
