Cistercian Nuns are asking for help building their monastery...

The Cistercian Nuns of Our Lady of the Valley Monastery in Wisconsin are asking for help building their new monastery. They have outgrown their old one, and need more space as well as a safer building to live in. Please consider donating to them (it would be a nice Christmas gift), and spread the word to others.

A generous benefactor has pledged $1 million to the campaign... if we can raise an additional million. This matching gift could be what we need to reach our Phase 1 fundraising goal for our new monastery project, but it comes with an added challenge: a deadline. The opportunity to contribute to the match began on November 1, the Solemnity of All Saints; it ends this coming April 1, Holy Thursday.

Good news! They reached their fundraising goal over two months earlier than needed! 

They are now trying to build in one single phase instead of two, to save money. I can't wait until they break ground on this monastery! It's going to be beautiful.
