adoro.te.devote
Does anyone happen to know what this citation refers to? "St. Thomas, In IV Sent." I tried looking everywhere to see what work of St Thomas this is from, but with no success... I'm posting it here because apparently it relates to vocations. (It's just something for a topic I was researching). Does anyone know? thank you Edited November 9, 2020 by adoro.te.devote
Anastasia
Well, I also did not know but I googled because I became curious what "Sent" is (I thought someone was sent etc.). Google says it is "Sentences" --> COMMENTARY ON THE SENTENCES by Thomas Aquinas https://isidore.co/aquinas/english/Sentences.htm
Feankie
This could be in reference to any of the works by Aquinas. If you could post the sentence/ paragraph associated with the citation it would make it easier to discover which Aquinas writing is the most likely candidate. If I remember correctly, on reference is about the sacraments, another on the imago dei.
NonNovi
Starting at Distinctio 24, he speaks about holy orders, starting at Distinction 26 about matrimony. Those would be good places for vocational quotes
