1337 k4th0l1x0r
I honestly thought some of the quotes were a little unfair. I'm not offended that they were posted, or that people here relate to them. But I think the masculine equivalent would have gotten shot down quite quickly. I think the paradigm is that men are hapless, slavering babes, who need women to wipe the drool from their chins. But many men right now are facing cancer with courage, or war, or even an ugly divorce that is stastically more likely to be initiated by a woman and to be benefited from by the same. In Christ there is neither woman nor man, but each is a new creation and is one. We as a society need real women and real men, and the reality of one's personhood is directly proportional to the sacrifices such a person makes. One sex does not diminish the other, but both (ideally) give glory to God.
Amen, tcw! We have to remember that men and women are equal in worth, but are not equivalent. A man and a woman are both equally important in the eyes of God and in a relationship, but each party contributes to a different aspect of the world and relationship in a complementary fashion.
i agree with you somewhat. but the thing is, women (historically) have stood behind their men, behind the scenes, sometimes having an opinion, sometimes not. it's only natural that sometimes there would be cynicism and hard feelings about the way women were treated for a long time. and some women deal with that with humor. i'm not saying that sometimes women go to far in their joking of men. they do. and i definitely agree with your last paragraph. it's a very good point! theculturewarrior
Well...to be fair...I'm betting that the statistic for men who don't put their dirty underwear in the hamper when they're done is roughly equivalent to the percentage of women who initiate divorce! Why are women so hard to live with? JK!

My dad didn't want it and it took forever for him to get over it... you're probably right about women initiating it more than men. -_-
