gloriana35
I thought this might be of interest. I hope one does not have to subscribe to The Tablet in order to view the article (I borrowed the headline in creating the topic, so I am not seeking to debate the difference between an order, congregation, society...) https://www.thetablet.co.uk/news/13550/pope-toughens-rules-on-new-religious-orders

VeniteAdoremus
I think the quoted Sister makes a good point, that groups should have a solid system in place to support their aspirants, and it seems logical that the Vatican could help there, as not every bishop will have experience with it. However, I don't see how it would help with almost every concrete example they mention. It's not like the Vatican wasn't enthusiastic about the Legionaries of Christ before all the horror came out. chrysostom
I noticed that. The "aspirants left in the lurch" stories are a different kind of thing and don't get press.
