Pope toughens rules on new religious orders

I think the quoted Sister makes a good point, that groups should have a solid system in place to support their aspirants, and it seems logical that the Vatican could help there, as not every bishop will have experience with it. However, I don't see how it would help with almost every concrete example they mention. It's not like the Vatican wasn't enthusiastic about the Legionaries of Christ before all the horror came out.

I noticed that. The "aspirants left in the lurch" stories are a different kind of thing and don't get press.
