BeenaBobba
Welcome, Robert! There are two Catholic Aussies here that I can think of off the top of my head: Phazzan and yiannii. God bless, Jen
Pope St Clement 1
Unfortunately no.. We used to go to St Mary's Cathedral where my dad and my brother in law were acolytes. I havent been to any apologetics talks as yet, sadly- have you heard of Lumen Verum Apologetics? I am thinking of getting involved.. Although admittedly I am one very green novice. Funnily enough, phatmass is entirely responsible for my newfound interest in Catholic Apolgetics, where none existed b4 Like you say, awesome place this How many aussies.. hmm good question I think there are a handful of us, though we seem to be scattered all over the country.
I went to St Mary's cathedral a handful of times for Mass. I often used to go there for confession or to just sit when I was in the city. I've heard of Lumen Verum Apologetics. I think they existed before St Gabriel's Communications (Raymond De Souza's). It's a good thing to get involved, particularly in promoting it to others. Too many of our fellow Catholics have lost their faith through little or no apologetics. Mind you, needn't go past Phatmass - it's a virtual exhaustive online library of apologetics topics & links. God bless
DemonSlayer
Welcome to Phatmass, Robert. I'm from Perth, Western Australia. I've been to the Redemptorist Monastery for Mass and I've heard of the HSOF Community. I've also been to several talks by Raymond de Souza. Pope St Clement 1
Thanks Demonslayer, ilovechrist, Crusader_4, JeffCR07 and St Colette for the welcome. I will stick around Jeff although I may not be on everyday as I spend fridays to tuesdays at Karriholm (and with all stuff God's called me to do). You know what else I love about Phatmass, Crusader_4 - the fact that's it's faithful to the Magisterium and (my worthy successor ) Pope John Paul II. It's fantastic that there's all these people from around the World - hopefully we can get some more on. I just think its the coolest Catholic website! And yep, it does show how catholic this wonderful, awesome Catholic church of ours is. May God bless all of you.
