cappie Posted July 6, 2004 Share Posted July 6, 2004 I would say that the Protestant Denominations share in the truth but they do not have the full truth. The Second Vatican Council taught that the fullness of truth subsists in the Catholic Church, but other Christian groups whilst not being in Communion with the Catholic Church nevertheless still share in that truth to some degree.
