crusader1234
Whats everyone's weirdest experience in regards to being confronted by a nonCatholic about your faith? In grade 6 a kid with a twitch went nuts on me for being a "Catholic Warlock" ( ) and then when I went to the Mennonite Heritage musem, they talked about the mass still being in Latin and indulgences still going on today like they were practiced way back when. I ended up sitting at the reception while the tour went on (aside from I went along for the sleighride and the food part) and the teacher called my parents becuase I thought it was stupid. Another weird thing was being told by a girl that being pro-life was totally contrary to what Jesus said about personal freedom. ? IcePrincessKRS
Can you imagine your kid coming up to you and saying "Grandma said we worship statues and her church is the one true religion"??? lol I can only imagine what was going through my mother's mind! She probably wanted to throttle grandma.... I know I would. Edited July 5, 2004 by IcePrincessKRS
RemnantRules
I live in TX so needless to say i have had ALOT of experiences. and i don't know which would be the weriedest. I think recently was when i was with Dust helping selling shirts for him and it was a non-dinom. event so needless to say Phatmass was a little out there being the only catholic booth besides Remnant. Well anyways, this guy, who was a youth group leader, slap the table and looks at Dust and goes, "Now i got to be honest, i have to ask you fellows a question. Is this a pro-catholic table?" then he asked "is this promoting Catholicism?" And Dust being the Holy guy he is just straight says "YEA." and so the guy slaps his hands down on the table agian and says thanks! Dust and i had a laugh at that one.
