Iacobus
I don't write in it but that is because it is a nice Bible. I am getting a Study Bible that I will write (maybe, I tend to use linedpaper more) in and highlight in. APUSH made me a highligter nut. LOL! So I tend to highlight. punkiepinay
in my school my religion teacher would tell us to write in our bibles to memorize passages and such. i only write in it now to highlight my favorite verses.

cmotherofpirl
All my bibles are filled with little notes, definitions , historical notes, hebrew translations, what church teaching is being referenced.
Rebirth flame
I don't write in my Bible but it does have several post-its in it lol its beginning to grow in thickness from all the post-its lol
good, i'm not alone! Norseman82
Consider this. If the bible you take notes in is not in good physical shape and falls apart and you need to get a new one, all your notes may be lost! I would suggest the post-it notes or index cards. Norseman82
Let me tell you one thing I am tempted to do with a bible, though. When I hear Catholic speakers give talks at Catholic gatherings and say things that are either doctrinally incorrect OR, more often, are just mean-spirited, I want to confront them with a portion of the bible (especially the gospels) and, if they just brush it off, announce loudly, "OK, tear this page out of the bible!" and dramatically rip it out for the shock value. VeraMaria
I highlight stuff.... And I have a notebook where I write down the passage and whatever I want to say about it, I can't bring myself to write in my bible... So I use lots of post-its, the tiny ones to mark certain pages

mattosika
i have 4 bibles that are litterly being held together by duct tape, my problem is that i write sooooooo much in my bible its hard to make sense what belongs to what or i'll be vauge and not write in detail and i'll go back and it doesn't make sense, or a highliter runs out so i start using a different colour and it doesn't make sense, and i have tones of sticky notes all through from teachings notes, thoughts prayers. Its my organized mess i would like to go threw them all and write down in a proper manner whats all in there but it will never happen.I've tried notebooks but it just doesn't work for me. I guess i will continue buying bibles when I can't write in one anymore. Oh ya by the way does anyone know of a good mens devotional bible i've really been trying to find one but i've had no luck. God Bless keep rocking and having fun Phatmass rocks
