the lumberjack
but apparently, from everyone's responses, what they saw wasn't good. so what REALLY IS going on over there? sounds like a mixing of Hindu beliefs/idolatry with Catholocism. any comments/concerns? littleflower+JMJ
for discussion, you can direct it to the several other fatima threads one in open mic and the one we had in the past on Fatima. pax.
the lumberjack
I found it, or one like it... man...that junk is evil. I can't believe that the Catholic Church is doing nothing about these people coming in and just desecrating the temple like this. "We don't want to be fundamentalists...." garbage.... my rap group is called the fundamentals, so you'll have to KILL ME!!! God bless.
MorphRC
Yes the Catholic Church in fatima, that gruner guy allowed a hindu pagan celebration their, defiled the site, and now needs to be re-consecrated. Geez what the heck is that guy thinking!
P3chrmd
I don't know...but Our Lady is shaking her head at that stuff! But Im not going to blame the Church for it...but one person...yes!

Guerra (and his bishop and some Vatican folks that I won't mention cause I don't want the thread to be shut down.)
P3chrmd
at EWTN someone posted a comment about this recent event at Fatima...and Fr. Bob Levis was actually speechless...he couldn't believe it! Here is his exact quote!
DEar Anon, I am speechless, if this be true. What ever can I say? Fr. Bob Levis
I can't believe this mess was allowed to happen! Was Our Lady's message not clear enough! URGH!!!  I don't understand how this could be allowed to happen! Im really REALLY upset! Not at the church...because the church is truth and it would never permitt this mess to happen...but whoever did is in T-R-O-U-B-L-E!!!!!!! What does Our Lady need to appear there once more...this time she would def. be Our Lady of Sorrows! We have to cease offending God!!!! And these hindu geniuses are doing just that! OH BOY! Dave
It turns my stomach just thinking about it. Regardless of what anyone may say, the Holy Father would NOT approve of that, and the bishop and others in Fatima who contributed to that even in any way need to be disciplined. jmjtina
For someone who has been at Fatima, I find this rather odd. I would like more sources than an UNofficial website on the internet. Call me a skeptic, but anyone can use photoshop nowadays to make fiction, fact.

yiannii
I have heard speculation over this Fatima stuff. I have heard a number of different stories. This sort of stuff is usually run by St PiusX people in their arguments against the True Church.
yiannii
Just because some Catholics fall, or some biships do the wrong thing, does that then render the entire organisation as being at fault? If the pope was to kiss the Koran (much dispute over that too) does that then mean that the Magisterium is there on false? Please! the doctrines have not changed.
