The simple ceremony took place between the 7:00 a.m. Office of Lauds and our 8:00 a.m. Scripture and Communion Service. James Pierce Cavanaugh, Ben Keller, Adrian Patrick McCaffery of the Dominican Province of St. Albert the Great (Central Province) and James Martin Nobles of the Dominican Province of St. Martin de Porres (Southern Province) will be ordained to the Diaconate in a private ceremony at the St. Dominic Priory Chapel on May 16th. This monastery is in "the heart of the city" and they struggled for a a number of years. But they've had four solemn professions in maybe the last five years.
