Pinks
It is heartbreaking to see what has become of this "Carmel".

Fortunately for the sisters, those in formation in this community, and those who worship with them regularly, they find it a place of spiritual fulfillment, joy, and blessing. And it is extremely rude to put Carmel in quotes. This monastery is in good standing with both the Carmelite order and the Church.
Sister Leticia
Thank you for sharing this, Nunsuch. The way Sister Eileen talks about her prayer and relationship with God at the end of the video is lovely. I noted she attended a school called Sacred Heart Academy - I'm wondering if it was one of the schools founded by my sisters in the USA?
Nunsuch
@Sister Leticia, I suspect it is! Wouldn't that be a lovely connection.... I have 3 friends in this monastery, and have visited it on several occasions. I hope to do so again in May, when I'm in the Baltimore area leading a retreat.
