Benedictines Sue St. Anselm College Board of Trustees

Saint Anselm College in New Hampshire is sponsored by the Benedictine monks of Sr. Anselm Abbey. They monks are suing the BOT of the college they sponsor. The issue is Board independence from the abbey as required by the accrediting organization. 

Government over-reach. Why does no one yell "separation of church and state" when the state interferes with the church? These quasi-governmental bodies set one-size-fits-all standards that, in effect, deprive the historically sponsoring organization from controlling their own college. Something similar happened at St. Procopius in Illinois a few years ago. And the article references Southern Methodist University having the same problem.
