Fiat_Voluntas_Tua
IHM SHJ The words..."The Lord be with you." are said 4 times durring The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Once at begining, once before the Gospel reading, once before Eucharistic prayer, and once right before the Final Blessing. These words are the exact words that The angel Gabriel said to Mary, when he told her that she would be the Mother of God. "Hail Mary, full of Grace. The Lord is with you!" At this greeting Mary was scarred not because of the angels appearance, but because of what the angel said to her. These words have powerful meaning, especially in the Old Testament. Before every huge battle those words were said. The words, "The Lord be with you" are words said before someone goes to battle! This angel said them to Mary, because she was going to battle against Satan! At Mass the Priest says these words 4 times, this is no coincidence! So as Catholics we MUST be prepared for a battle. A HUGE BATTLE! A battle against Satan. A Battle for Our Souls and the Souls of our families and friends. Soldier4Him
Our lives as Catholics means we are engaged in a spiritual war with Satan every single day. We need the Lord to be with us or we will fall, for without Christ, we can do nothing. Put on his armor of light, and let's get out there and win each day's battle's for our King! And for the Queen of Heaven! May the Lord be with each one of you EVERY SINGLE MOMENT OF EVERY SINGLE DAY. Peace.
