Powerful way of praying for holy souls in purgatory

I just came across this today: https://www.romancatholicman.com/best-way-pray-holy-souls-purgatory-living-loved-ones/ This priest,Father Richard Heilman recommends what he calls"the very best  way" of praying for the holy souls in purgatory as well as for the living.  

Basically the idea is kind of like a pyramid scheme except from the fact that it is really a holy alliance!  The day that you start, choose a  Saint to join you in praying for just one holy soul in purgatory.  Then the next day, choose another Saints and holy soul to join you and your team from the first day, and ask them to join you in praying for one more soul in purgatory  . And you just keep continuing to do this kind of recruiting until you have an army. Every day, you do some kind of prayer or work to gain an indulgence on behalf of the soul you choose to pray for that day. Also ask your team to join you in praying the Divine Mercy chaplet for someone who is living. 

  amesome idea, no?
