My fear is that with The Church's reputation more or less down the gurgler, there will be more pressure than ever to not put reputation under even further threat.  I do wonder with our hierarchy where their full confidence and trust is.  I am hoping that it is indeed in The Holy Spirit and prayer.   It is only in cooperating with The Holy Spirit in openness and honesty, truth, that we will come out of this. What the face of that "coming out"will be, is an unknown factor.  I mean we will eventually for sure but the journey to that point may be a very rocky and concerning one.  I am concerned that the investment will be in human reasoning and control..........to protect The Church as primary focus, rather than full investment in truth and transparency - and therefore co-operating with The Spirit and allowing Him to lead the way, to be in the driver's seat.
