When I was about 15 my sisters and I had protestant friends (they were sisters, too) who sent us about 3 Jack Chick tracts (fearing for our souls, they really weren't being mean) (The death cookie on, the IHS one, and one other I forget what it was....). Anyhow, Mom did some calling around to local protestant pastors and they sent her some articles about Chick and Tony Alamo. One pastor told Mama that "No self respecting Christian believes what Jack Chick says." After wirting the girls a letter and sending them the articles they NEVER said or sent us anything of that nature again.
