"Poof" and 'bent" would be the equivalent of an American describing a gay person as "qwerty." So I guess it depends on whether or not you think that is derogatory. At any rate, they are not the most sensitive of terms.
This is weird...the word "qwerty" above is supposed to be "qwerty," but it will not post...maybe there is a protection against using it.
qwerty
See what I mean?
qwerty? it isn't? It's the name of the computer on Veggetales
The derogatory term for a homosexual person that begins with a "q" and ends in a "ueer" that I typed in will not post on the phorum. The word "qwerty" was replaced instead.
true... and a lot of blacks call each other the n word... but I wouldn't...
Yeh. But most races do that, turn bad names and use them, themselves, its kinda a defence. Like the volvo ads, everyone use to go 'Bloody Volvo drivers smell of elderberries' and worse, now Volvo have caught on and on their ads have got

'You wish you were a bloody volvo driver'

:D

I agree that the slang terms crossed the line, it wasn't necesary, but I still have to give the guy credit for sticking to his moral sensibilities, ya know?

See, those get filtered, too, but I'm sure you can guess what they are supposed to be.

LOL! That would upset me. LOL! Not really. I am assuming the guy knew they were homosexual. But I have, as a heterosexual, shared a bed with other guys before, granted we were in sleeping bags with pillows between us, lol. It was when we were camping, the weather forced us to get cabins and in order to fit all the guys in the double bed had to have two people (we already had guys on the bunk both levels and on the floor, lol). But yeh, lol.

I like the idea of denying to unmarried couples as well.

Its something my mom once said. It basically means that if you insult me I'll get over it even if it irks me (funny, I was able to apply that part of my quote last night, I was actually in fits of laughter). However, if you disrespect Jesus in the Eucharist (or diss the Catholic Faith) I'll bring out the "big guns", ain't nobody who calls Jesus the "death cookie" on my turf!

"death cookie"... I see you loathe Jack Chick just as much as I do.

/Looks around.

It seems that no one here really likes Jack Chick!
