linate
good article about forgiveness from an orthodox https://blogs.ancientfaith.com/glory2godforallthings/2019/07/04/the-poor-debts-and-your-enemies-learning-to-forgive/ i never thought of God commensating someone in heaven who was slighted on earth. i often just assumed we are suppose to smell of elderberries it up. i suppose the idea of getting rewarded is kinda selfish and you should forgive just cause it's the divine thing to do. Doing good in hope of a reward in Heaven seems to me could be termed perhaps imperfect virtue (similar to imperfect contrition). It is quite valid but not a perfected reason for doing good i.e. solely for love of God without thought at all of any reward.
