BarbTherese
Polling booths close at 6pm, in roughly one hour - results could mean either quick results at around 7.30pm if there is a clear victory or drag out much longer if the election is a close one. Praying that God's Will will be done. Either way His Will will be done in that if the results are not in accord with His Direct Will, then His Permissive Will will draw good out of a negative situation. But praying that His Direct Will will be done for the Australian Federal Parliamentary elections. I am hoping and praying for a Labour victory. Guest
At 10.09 pm Sth Aust time, the drift seems to be that the Liberal Coalition Party will remain as our Government with Scott Morrison our Prime Minister. Nothing is a fait accompli as yet and we probably won't know for sure until tomorrow. There are still a lot of seats with votes to be counted and the determination at this point is "Too close to call". The Prime Minister went to church with wife Jenny this morning after the miracle victory. "I give thanks to live in the greatest country in all the world," he said outside the Horizon Church. "Thanks again to all Australians all across the country." Hugging members of the church congregation, Mr Morrison praised the people of the Sutherland Shire in his home seat of Cook, and his team of local volunteers.
