Wuerl forwarded the report to the apostolic nuncio in Washington, DC, the Diocese of Pittsburgh said Thursday" https://www.catholicnewsagency.com/news/wuerl-knew-mccarrick-abuse-allegations-in-2004-91213?fbclid=IwAR3x6UCrPZwMQfS2L4EEhLIZFqo0HMsTAIuxTySShEK81TM8Y_1y0c3CIis
Lilllabettt
That Wuerl claims to not have heard the rumors is incredible. The rumours about "the beach house" were known to me, a dippy 21 year old RCIA candidate in the Archdiocese of Washington D.C., back in 2004. I dismissed them as a nutty right wing conspiracy theory, as did many, but the rumours were widespread.
