Computer Problem

Google Chrome was my default browser; however, it keeps throwing up "This Site Cannot be Reached" for some reason or other.  What I have done is made Bing my default browser and so far so good.

Does anyone know how to stop Chrome throwing up that error message?  I have tried everything recommended I think.  It might work for a while but then goes back to throwing up the error message.  I have had Chrome for a year at least I think it must be and it is only in recent days I am having problems with it

Sample of the message I keep getting, although just now, Chrome is behaving.  Going by past behaviour, it won't be long before the error message pops up again.  It seems to start with one site only for a short while and then goes on to a few sites.
