Young Lay Person to be canonized during Youth Synod

I am delighted that a young person in the laity is to be canonized.  Laudate Dominum, Deo Gratius.

"Blessed Sulprizio was beatified by Paul VI, who will be canonised with him this Sunday, in 1963. In his homily, Paul VI said Sulprizio was an example for young people of how “the period of youth should not be considered the age of free passions, of inevitable falls, of invincible crises, of decadent pessimism, of harmful selfishness. Rather, he will tell you how being young is a grace.”

Blessed Nunzio was proclaimed Blessed during Vatican II by Pope Paul VI and will be canonized during the Youth Synod.
