Guest n8nrg
i first think of the eucharist as the 'body blood soul and divinity' of Jesus. that makes me think of merging with "all that is".... God, myself with the physical universe, and Jesus' body and blood, and his spirit etc. i dont think when i take the host that i'm "eating Jesus' flesh" so much as merging with all that is, that includes his flesh, which i understand to be of highest holiness. do you think this view is adequate to be a good catholic? Jesus is not "all that is," if by "all that is" you mean "the entire physical universe." While He sustains and holds all things in existence, He is at the same time distinct from His creation. Your view seems to be aligned with pantheism, which is a heresy.
