Vatican Advisor: Pope Breaks Catholic Tradition Whenever He Wants

Under Pope Francis, the Church is now “openly ruled by an individual rather than by the authority of Scripture alone or even its own dictates of tradition plus Scripture,” a Vatican advisor has said.

In an admiring portrait of the Pope, Fr Thomas Rosica wrote that Francis “breaks Catholic traditions whenever he wants” because he is “free from disordered attachments”.

This is what happens when one places the Pope above the Church. The Pope is a servant to Tradition, he is not its master, he cannot change what the Church has always taught, he cannot develop apples into oranges and claim they are the same. This is what every protestant accuses Catholics of, adoration of the Pope.
