Lapsed Catholics

Two bachelors who are lapsed Catholics with whom I am in touch need prayer please.  Both are attending fortnightly Mass with me on a Sunday late afternoon.  They both have not been to Confession for around 30 years.  They raised the subject of Confession and I did my best at encouragement.  They are not attending Holy Communion because of the lack of Confession and hence are not attending Holy Communion with me and all.  They attend Mass quite devoutly kneeling down at appropriate times.

Very very sadly indeed, homilies very often indeed mention families, but I would starve if my food was to hear mention of single people in a homily.  We are out here too.
