jubilatedeo
Hello, I am new to phatmass! I'm glad to be here. I work in Youth Ministry in a Catholic Parish in the Midwest and I am looking for perhaps anyone that might know of some amesome Vocation Videos - both for gals and guys - that I could potentially show to my youth at different times throughout the year to promote vocations. I have checked with my diocese and I have gathered a few - although I would love to have some more! Thanks and God Bless! JubilateDeo
Lou
The Trappistines in Wrentham have a documentary about their lives here: http://saltriverproductions.com/saltriver-portfolio/hidden-a-life-all-for-god The Trappistine life is also for males, Spencer is near Wrentham and there's a monk featured briefly ^ in that video so that's good for both. It is long though. However, the Mt St Mary's website have it broken into user friendly chunks if that's more helpful: https://msmabbey.org/vocation-stories The Nashville Dominicans also have a movie called 'Beloved' and I'm sure if you contacted them they'd send you a copy perhaps. My friend is discerning diocesan priesthood and loves this video. It's open, honest and not too heavy. Equally it follows briefly a guy saying he had been called away from seminary to marriage... and so shows a good element of ongoing discernment.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5vu5svEA6ko

Nunsuch
There are tons of these on YouTube. LCWR put one out a couple of years ago, too. There are some, too, I believe on the A Nun's Life website.
Swami Mommy
I second Lou’s suggestion of Hidden: a Life All for God. I have watched this video at least fifteen tines. It was shown on EWTN TV once and I recorded it, but it is also available for purchase from the abbey. Whenever I need inspiration to recharge my mindful intent to focus on God, this is the video I watch.
TheresaThoma
If you want something with a bit of humor and good information try the Kansas Monk's Youtube chanel. Here are a couple to get you started https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TK5JrtXzLag (funny primer on what a monk is) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I69f2V2H5n8 (a more serious look at their daily life) For the women https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqizpNNDDz0&t=1s (A documentary on Glencairn Abbey a Trappist Abbey in the UK) Light of Love is also good and on youtube For Love Alone is a good one but is not available on YouTube but here is the trailer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8nnIgo2PfY Beloved by the Nashville Dominicans https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kzmscOLisac (Video on Benedictine Nuns)

Not the UK. Thank you for sharing this, it's a most beautiful documentary.
