For a friend who is struggling, and for me and my work

I have a good friend who is suffering at the moment. Her behaviour in the face of those difficulties has been a pure inspiration to me. Please pray that Jesus will be close to her and will lead her out of distress.

I have an awful lot of work to finish and there is so much of it that sometimes I feel helpless and don't know where to begin. I'm also feeling a bit raw and tired for other reasons. Please pray for me too.
