[quote] They're also called "pigs in a blanket" for those who don't know the Polish word for the dish.

lol...not by my book...pigs in a blanket are sausages wrapped in pancakes...golambki is ground sausage, mixed with rice, wrapped in cabbage leaves and cooked in tomato sauce...

We always called Golombki pigs in a blanket. I've never heard of sausage wrapped pancakes called that before. lol I tried looking it up on my favorite recipe websites and all I found was things about wrapping hotdogs with coagulated milk and breading except for on the Food Network website and THEY had the Golombki version.

Well, I could be wrong, but I know that's what they are at Perkins or Village Inn.

It probably just varies from area to area. I've never been to a Perkins or Village Inn. ...although when I was growing up there was a Perkins on the way to the mall and at night the P light was out so we always called it Erkins.
