justfran
It usually takes me about an hour to do it. I downloaded this clip of some guy praying it (Glorious Mysteries, I think) and I thought he was like...motormouth! "HailMaryfullofgraceblessedartthouamongwomenandblessedisthefruitofthywombJesusHolyMaryMotherofGodprayforussinnersnowandatthehourofourdeathAmen!" And I thought I was saying it too fast! azaelia
I said it like that when I was a kid. Now it takes me about 15-20 minutes, and that's with all the extra prayers I throw in Do I say it too fast?...
StColette
A Rosary takes me about 30 mins to say. That was after about a year of praying it. My first couple of Rosaries took me an hour or more!

immaculata
Yeah, 20-30 sounds reasonable.. I usually fall asleep somewhere in the middle of that when I pray before bed...... -_-
BeenaBobba
It usually takes me about 25 min. to pray the Rosary. It takes me about an hour and half to pray the Joyful, Sorrowful, and Glorious Mysteries. God bless, Jen
Thy Geekdom Come
It takes you an hour? Do you do the monastic rosary? lol... It usually takes me about 25-30 minutes. Any shorter and I didn't concentrate and I know that I wasn't paying attention and then I feel guilty. I have a short attention span (perhaps why I like Phatmass, what with all the different topics), so I lose my grasp on the prayers after about ten minutes. I need to learn to split the rosary up over the day.

[/quote] The French nuns at my mother's school growing up taught her that if you fall asleep during the rosary, the angels come down over you and finish it on your behalf. Crusader_4
If i do the full rosary all three (i guess its four now) mysteries i am talking about 40-60 minutes but when i just do one of the set of mysteries tis about 15 minutes.
Soldier4Him
About 20-25. Unless of course....I sing it. I LOVE to sing the rosary. And as St Augustine says, when you sing once, you pray TWICE. If I sing it, usually an hour 15 to an hour and a half.
immaculata
I love to sing the Chaplet of Divine Mercy like they do on EWTN!
Sinner
15 to 20 minutes usually......sometimes when I am really concentrating on the Mystery and not the prayer, I actually go faster as I am not necessarily thinking about the words. It becomes rhythmic. I Love the Rosary.
