eternitythinker
Hi, i send email to the carthusian monastery in pleterje about liturgy, and they send me this: We celebrate Mass according to the renewed (postconciliar) carthusian missal (rite). We don't use tridentine missal. My question: Is that novus ordo mass ?
truthfinder
In a way. The Carthusians have celebrated their own rite of the Mass for a long time (think like how the Dominicans can too). And like the Dominicans, have revised their rite after VII. While some Dominicans do celebrate the preconciliar Dominican rite, I am not aware of any Carthusians doing so. I found this link which may be able to give you more details about what their Masses look like: http://psallitesapienter.blogspot.ca/2010/05/modern-carthusian-mass.html
