dlz7486
Hi everyone! I was just wondering who will be going to Notre Dame in the fall, who currently goes there, who has gone there, and who wants to go there. I'll be an incoming freshman this fall, it'd be nice to know some people and hear their stories!

GodsThespianChic
I'm going to Notre Dame for a Life Teen leadership conference in T minus: 32 hours!! I really would love to go to Notre Dame for college, but I don't know if I could get accepted...and if I did, I would have to worry about scholarships and financial aid big time. My friend Erika goes there, and she is absolutely in love with it.

BLAZEr
I'm a Domer, Class of 2001. Forget Steubenville and go to a college that will make your Mama proud! Notre Dame, Our Mother, Tender, Strong, and True Proudly in the Heavens, Gleams Thy Gold and Blue Glory's Mantle cloaks thee, Golden is thy fame And our hearts forever, Praise thee Notre Dame And our hearts forever, Love thee Notre Dame! Oh yeah! And that song ain't talking about no school . . . it's talking about Our Lady!
dlz7486
First off, lankyswimmer, there is no "barf" when talking about ND. Let's just establish that right now. I love the alma mater! Praise to Our Lady!! What's so great about Steubenville anyway? Notre Dame all the way! Iacobus - if you want a Jesuit school with a med school attached, my recommendation is Georgetown, my best friend goes there. But, he was valedictorian of our class, blah blah blah. I got waitlisted there - it's tough to get in. It seems that they're a school that looks at your GPA, your last name, and how many small countries your father owns. Sadly, that's what you'll find with a lot of these schools that claim to be Catholic, especially the prestigious ones. They sacrifice their Catholic identity for their reputation. I know with Georgetown, religion is definitely not very prominent, although they claim to be a Catholic school. I think the only real Catholic presence there is the congregation of Jesuits that live near campus. But what am I talking about?! Not so with ND!! GO IRISH!! Rebirth flame
i live litterally 5 minutes from Notre Dame! it's pretty cool, i can go there whenever i want! Make sure whenever any of you guys go there that you visit the Grotto (especially at night when it's lit almost entirely by the candles! its beautiful!)! as far as education goes, if it's religious education yur lookin for, Notre Dame is ok, but they're notorious for being liberal... that's where Steubenville would be a better choice: if you wanna stay closer to alot of the Church's teachings that are often changed around with liberalism. just be careful who you choose as your professors at Notre Dame... there are some good ones, and some extremely liberal ones... -_- God Bless! ~rebirth

BLAZEr
Saying "If" I get accepted at Steubie is like saying "If" my heart beats . . . Oh, and I love Christ, I meant you should make your BIG Mama proud, you know the one who wears Blue and Gold!
