From the Carmel of St. Joseph in St. Louis, MO:

"On June 9, 2018, Sr. Maria Battista of the Lamb of God professed her solemn vows at the Monastery of St. Joseph."

They also posted a ten-minute Vimeo. The first three or four minutes are really more like a tour of the monastery grounds. During the procession, you can see Bishop Stika of Knoxville and Justin Cardinal Rigali, but I can't identify the main celebrant. Later in the video, you can see that the community has at least two other nuns in formation.

From Saint Anselm Benedictine Abbey in Manchester, New Hampshire:

Brother Aloysius Ryan Sarasin, O.S.B., has professed temporary vows as a monk of Saint Anselm Abbey. On July 7, 2018, Abbot Mark Cooper, O.S.B. presented Brother Aloysius with the full monastic habit and a copy of the Rule of Saint Benedict.

Through his temporary profession of vows, Brother Aloysius begins his three-year "Juniorate" phase where he embraces the vows of the Order of St. Benedict: obedience, stability, and conversatio morum (fidelity to monastic life) as cited in chapter 58 of the Rule of Saint Benedict. Upon completing three years after careful prayer and deliberation, he may petition the monastic community to profess solemn vows and become a permanent member of the monastic community.

Brother Aloysius(Ryan Sarasin) is from Leominster, Massachusetts. He graduated from Saint Anselm College in 2017 with a degree in Theology and a minor in Philosophy. Brother Aloysius graduated from Saint John’s High School in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts in 2013.

“God works in mysterious ways and I am extremely blessed to be called to the monastic life and this great community of monks,” said Brother Aloysius. “I am extremely thankful for the full support from my confreres, family, friends, students, and the college community. It has made the decision to take vows much easier.”

Brother Aloysius will pursue seminary studies this fall and hopes to be ordained to the priesthood.

From the Dominican friars of the province of St. Martin de Porres, (the US South):

###################################################

AND from the Dominican Friars of the province of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary (US West) - TEN men will enter in August. They've had steady vocations for ten or fifteen years, and the average class size has been increasing, but this is a major jump! You can read brief biographies at this link - one is a doctor - a pediatric radiologist.
