Seven77
Today, Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, the patronal feast day of the United States, there was a special Mass at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, Washington, DC... It was pretty crowded, especially as the central dome of the church was dedicated. It features a mosaic of the Holy Trinity... Not a single empty seat could be seen except for those in the side chapels… Anyway, it was so beautiful to see such a turnout at a two hour Mass in the middle of the day. People love Our Lady. The faith is alive and well.
