baby C
I have this guy that is like my friend. We have been going out for a year in August and I think that I love him but my married brother thinks that I am too younge to know what it is. How do you know if you love someone? curtins
how old are you?
cathgirl
I think that it's different for each person. The problem is w/ a lot of teens is that they think they are in love physically, but not mentally.
DancesforLove
I've been to told that I'm too young to love but I dissagree. I think there are people who are young and who are mistaken about what love is but I don't think we lack the ability or knowledge. I think it varies from person to person and no one can tell you what love is, it really is something only you can tell. Thats my input!
let_go_let_God
A) How old are you baby C? B) I've heard love explained but this is the way that always has stuck in my mind.
There are two types of love, Pizza Love and Real Love. Pizza Love: You love to have pizza to eat and think you can eat it every day. So you try and get sick of it. You put the pizza in the back of the fridge and forget about it, untill you want pizza again. Real Love: This cannont be explained except that it is a blessing by God. All I can explain is that there is more to it than there is pizza love.
I heard this at a Stubie Conference, and since I heard it, it has stuck in my mind. Also I suggest that you pray and find out what God is telling you.

StColette
Yep, I've heard the same thing from my brother and sister before, but I say it all depends upon the person. Love doesn't know age and can not be pressed into only occuring at a certain age.
azaelia
That's tricky You can't really make a blanket statement that everyone under such and such age don't know what love is. It all depends. How do you know if you love someone? You never know. Sorry, it's the truth. But if you spend all your time wondering if you are "in love" you waste time you could be spending loving. Does that make any sense? But if you must know, here's a list of possible signs: You'd do anything to see him smile. His happiness means everything to you. You'd give up everything for him. That's all I can think of. Notice I don't mention the usual "signs" (ex - You think about him all the time, etc.) They tend to be superficial and indicative of infatuation and not necessarily love.
