First vows at Quidenham Carmel

Just seen an announcement of first vows on Quidenham Carmel's FB page. This young sister occasionally posted here on Phatmass, and I remember her going off to do her live-in, then entering. And time has flown, and here she is now! They don't post many photos/much news of the community, so this is a rare bit of [exceedingly good] news.

Quidenham, btw, is a monastery in Norfolk, England, and the author Ruth Burrows is part of the community. The hermit Wendy Beckett (who has also written on spiritual matters, as well as religious art) lives in a caravan in their grounds.

I looove Wendy Beckett! The Story of Painting is one of my favourite TV show.
