DameAgnes
The piece is nice, it's about contemplative communities that take prayer requests online, but I thought I'd include it here b/c it has so many community website links. In case anyone is thinking they might like to seek out such communities. http://epicpew.com/know-can-request-prayers-nuns-online/
Nunsuch
This is an interesting list, but it should be noted that a number of the communities listed are not cloistered at all. See the Francisans of Perpetual Adoration, The Carmelites of the Most Sacred Heart, the DSMMEs, etc. I mention this in case people here might want to use the list to locate contemplative communities for discernment. truthfinder
And I also noted that there is one community listed that is not in communion with Rome: Congregation of Mary Immaculate Queen (aka the Singing nuns).
Feankie
I just wrote to the website regarding the CMI's being sedevecantists and others not being cloistered....no real way to contact them except under the heading of ideas for articles. Yes, the list of nuns is misleading, especially the CMI's. Think I'll get a response?
