Lewis'devil Screwtape famously said, is the music of hell. Cardinal Sarah offers us a richly engaging, elegantly written reflection on the importance of recovering silence in our own lives, and through silence, rediscovering the presence of God, the beauty of creation, and the nature of our mission as disciples." --Most Rev. Amppax
It occupies a prominent place on my "to buy/read" list. However, it is below his previous book, and I feel it would be wrong to get one before the other.
Era Might
Nice. One of the images of Christ I love is that he shuts every mouth, all are silent before him, not because of his power or argument, but because before him nothing is that is, there is only him. Amppax
Right, but I'm funny about reading things electronically. I have an electronic copy, but it will most likely sit languishing on my hard drive forever. It won't be until I have paper in my hands that the book will be read.
