Open Mic and Lame Board merge:

So, the lame board was created back when the phorum had lots of traffic. Popular posts dropping off of the first page was actually a problem.

Now that the phorum's activities has dropped to a more manageable level, I think it's time to start allowing lame topics to be part of Open Mic again.

After the merge, I'm open to renaming Open Mic to something else which better reflects the added lameness.

I'm lame right now because I hurt my knee (just a mild sprain, nothing serious, but it hurts to walk).

Is this thread saying that the cure is sauce? If so, what kind of sauce? (Yeah, I know, lamesauce.)  :P

Surely your combined IQ's (which possibly exceed 100 combined) can come up with a cure.

I need to look up the patron saint of sprained knees.

Lately, I've been trying to find things I put away "somewhere" and haven't used for years, so I think St. Anthony is getting tired of me. Otherwise, I'd ask him to "find" me a cure for my sprained knee. (Yes, I know the bit about ice, rest etc etc.)

this is also a nice sauce but too much and you really won't be able to find anything!  Perhaps that's how things were lost in the first place? :P

Sorry, Vee, I didn't get my knee problem from imbibing in demon rum. In fact, as far as I know, the town I live in has no bars, only restaurants that serve liquor. (Although, I could be wrong about this.) A town of 30,000, with no bars? (Legally, I live in a village, but that seems a little twee. Besides, what village has 30,000 people?)

A little searching turned up St. Roch as the patron saint of knee problems (as well as dogs, dog lovers, and pestilence, including the bubonic plague). I wonder if St. Roch prescribes the other kind of roach as a cure for knee pain--at least to make you not care? However, I don't imbibe in the weed, either, even in states where it is legal.

Sheesh, I really AM lame, and not just physically. I hope this knee pain goes away soon, because for once I have stuff to do.

BTW--I am greatly enjoying writing lame stuff in Open Mic. It's hard work to be serious and well-spoken.
