graciandelamadrededios
This monastery is a member of Poor Clare Federation of Marry Immaculate; majority of monasteries in this federation are Colettine but there are 2 OSC. One of which is Sauk Rapids. 1990 - The Monastery of Maria, Moeder van de Kerk, was founded in Elshout, The Netherlands, by the Roswell monastery. In 1993, the Elshout monastery relocated to Eindhoven, The Netherlands, and became a member monastery of our federation in 2009. Due to lack of vocations, the monastery closed in 2015 and the community returned to the United States. http://federation.poorclares-roswell.org/history.html
DameAgnes
That's Sr. Gabriel, I think, in the top photo. This community has continued to have vocations, through the rough patch. I am glad they've gone back to the old veil and habit. What they wore in the 1970's never seemed like it "fit"

They have several guimpe changes and at one time, instead of white knotted cord, they wore belt made with the same materials of the habit.

Makarioi
I like the style of the old one. The new one looks comfy, and I guess if I had to wear it every day, I'd vote comfort!
