The Greatest Super Bowl

The greatest game I've ever witnessed. I never thought there would be such an incredible comeback to surpass even Super Bowl 49, but this one takes the cake.

It was very fun being in a room of 70+ people, all of whom except six were rooting for the Falcons. A diocesan brother of mine, one of the proud six (and also huge and muscular), picked me up when they won and carried me around the room to a stunned silence broken only by six people cheering.

Ash Wednesday

I've never really been a big fan of Tom Brady or the Pats but it's not to say I can't respect him and what he has done. What he accomplished is legendary and I have to take my hat off to it.

ETA: the internet meltdown and fallout was pure GOLD.

I prefer hockey to everything.

Let's Go Pens.

First half was a yawner, so I switched to PBS' Sunday night lineup of "Mercy Street," "Victoria" and "King Henry's Wives."

It was only until logging into Facebook did I realize I missed an epic Superbowl.  I was rooting for Brady.  More so, I was watching the first half just because my Houston Texans Stadium made it to the Superbowl.  (Yay!)

Nah. At least 43 was better.

How hard is it to run the ball twice and kick a field goal? Mere stupidity prevents last night's game, and the Seattle game, from being in the conversation.

The visual of six people cheering out of a room of over 70 and FP being carried around is pretty hilarious to me.

I didn't have any actual emotional investment in the game as far as rooting for anyone -- only mild curiosity of whether or not Lady Gaga would do anything crazy or overtly political during the halftime show. I stopped watching after halftime because I had other things I needed to get done, but then checked back a couple of hours later to find that the internet had lost its mind.

best game, best half-time show ever and worst (by far) commercials ever too!

I've never witnessed a Super Bowl in which people did not complain that "these commercials are the worst they've ever been!"

I think Super Bowl commercials are lavishly overrated, but we keep believing in the idea that they are super amazing even when they consistently fail to live up to our expectations.

I don't really follow the commercials quite so much anymore.

One exception, though.

Anything with Christopher Walken in it is amazing and wonderful.

Breaking news :cry4:

In the aftermath of Sunday night’s Super Bowl win, someone swiped Tom Brady’s jersey. The search to find it is on.

9 Possible Leads In The Tom Brady Stolen Jersey Case

(It was the Russian's)

Probably a cat or dog that wanted something to use as its bed.  You may even find Patrick Kane's game-winning puck from the 2011 Stanley Cup with it as well.

I'm not much a follower of football, but that game was amazing.  I"m glad Brady and the team made some records.  Lady Gaga did an amazing half time show as well.  I never realized she has such a beautiful voice.

Does anyone think Brady will retire?

Seems best to quit while you are on top, like Nico Rosberg did.

True, I think I would.  The Falcons QB Ryan did a fantastic job also.  I bet we'll be seeing and hearing more of him.
