Luigi
From St. Martin's Abbey in Washington State (they staff a college): Saint Martin's Abbey July 10 at 9:48pm · Brother-postulant Brandon Rappuhn is now Brother-novice Damien Joseph Rappuhn! He presented himself for admission in a brief ceremony during evening prayer on July 10 and received the name of Damien after St. Damien of Molokai, a priest who ministered to those afflicted with leprosy in Hawaii in the nineteenth century. There were a few friends in attendance, but this ceremony is usually not publicized as are simple vows, taken after the one-year novitiate, or solemn vows, taken after all stages of formation are complete, usually after about four and a half years in monastic life. The novitiate is a one-year period of focus on monastic life, in work, study, and prayer, with limited interaction outside the monastery. Please pray for his ongoing discernment and formation and perseverance!

Quasar
This clip is of a postulant's 2016 entrance into the Carmel of St. Teresa of Avila (I believe). The sight of the nuns with their faces covered in a black veil is quite foreboding. It is an interesting ceremony, though. I know one US Carmel who does; their Prioress told me they pull the veil down to their nose during communion.
