From the Congregation of Alexian Brothers:

Join us in praying for the courageous men discerning their vocations with the Alexian Brothers, particularly those who are scheduled for a "Come and See Visit" during the following weeks. Special intentions for MARC as he moves to the Formation House at the end of May. May they all continue to find joy and inspiration in their vocation journey towards a life of love, dedication and service to God and to those who are marginated.

The archdiocese of Cincinnati, Ohio ordained three men on the 24th or 25th of May.

Springfield-Cape Girardeau ordained two priests this year:

-Joseph Stoverink on May 26 in Cape Girardeau, and

- Colby Elbert on June 2 in Joplin.

Springfield-Cape Girardeau is a pretty far-flung diocese - 350 miles between Cape and Joplin. Stoverink and Elder were ordained on separate days, in their own hometowns, I guess so their families could attend without being unduly inconvenienced.

****************************************************************

Grand Rapids, MIchigan ordained three priests of June 3. This link gives the names & biographies of the newly ordained, as well as of three permanent deacons and a transitional deacon: http://www.dioceseofgrandrapids.org/multimedia/Pages/Ordination_2017.aspx#.WTOM9WgrLcs

St. John's Seminary in Boston draws students from all over the northeast U.S. The link below indicates that:

- Boston, Massachusetts ordained 4 priests

- Springfield, Massachusetts ordained 2 priests

-Burlington, Vermont ordained 1 priest

- Hartford, Connecticut ordained 1 priest
