Socrates
It is indeed a disgrace that so many self-proclaimed "Catholics" follow social-left political correctness, rather than the constant moral teachings of the Church. And if there is really widespread ignorance and confusion on these topics, bishops and priests who fail to preach the truth on these matters share in the blame. Widespread ignorance and confusion has enough blame to go around to all practicing catholics.

Guest
Another Catholics meme. Just forwarding it. Not sure how I feel about it. I've heard a few people object to the Popes talk about God's new surprises or what he means by that. Edited January 30, 2017 by Guest

Guest
I know how I feel about it. Disgusting. It is whatevers like the meme in the OP that is striving to incite rebellion in the Church......striving for confusion and disunity. It strives to incite fear and insecurity. Fear and insecurity, rebellion, confusion and disunity are not gifts of The Holy Spirit, fruits of The Holy Spirit ...........nor the work of The Holy Spirit. Therefore they can be safely rejected as "not of God". And if something is not of God..........?.............then why promote it. What I do wonder is if the authors and promoters of such memes and what they promote is that "great deception" itself. Numerous mystics have warned us about sin and damnation, about hell, for those who refuse to repent and that we must pray and do penance for them. Totally different matter - and a teaching of The Church since Jesus walked our earth and His own words and Gospel. A psychiatrist years ago had a conversation with me, ran like this: "Do you have a message for the world" "Yes, I do" "Can you tell me what it is?" "Sure! Repent and be saved, just the same ancient message as always".

Guest
“The False Prophet (Anti-pope) will have a religion without a cross. A religion without a world to come. A religion to destroy religions. There will be a counterfeit church. Christ’s Church [the Catholic Church] will be one. And the False Prophet will create the other. The false church will be worldly ecumenical, and global. It will be a loose federation of churches. And religions forming some type of global association. A world parliament of churches. It will be emptied of all divine content and will be the mystical body of the Antichrist. The mystical body on earth today will have its Judas Iscariot and he will be the false prophet. Satan will recruit him from among our bishops.” - Bishop Fulton J. Sheen Edited January 31, 2017 by Guest
Guest
"Catholic doctrine does not contain surprises, due to fact that revelation is closed. Therefore we are sure that our holy father means something different in his invocations of the God of Surprises." -CM
