For some friends living with violence

As some people here know, I used to work in the humanitarian field and I spent quite a long time living in areas with violence and injustice. I remain in touch with many friends in difficult places. Please pray for them, especially for one friend who feels uneasy about the oppression that is directed towards other groups in her country, but who struggles to know what she can and should do about it. Please pray that this friend will know that I love her. She is engaged to be married to a man who committed possible war crimes - he won't talk about his involvement in the fighting, but he was a soldier in an area where terrible things happened, and other friends of mine really suffered in that place. From things this particular friend has said to me lately I gather that she's worried I'm judging her partner harshly and she's protective over him while simultaneously feeling very guilty. Please pray that I can be gentle and that God will teach us all how to listen.
